Samsung S2 wont switch on

need some help here....when im charging my phone...it shows the battery image and a exclamation mark...i leave it therefor 3 hours...when i come back its totally black out no matter whut i do,,,

It is probably an issue with your battery or the charger/charging cable. If you have any spares, you can swap em around to try to isolate the issue. It's pretty cheap to purchase replacements for all of those things as well.
