Samsung smart TV won't find networks (UN60ES8000)

Up untill recently my TV had no problem finding and connecting to a network but now it won't even show a single network up when searching for them. I manually installed latest firmware and tried setting DNS to 8.8.8.8 nothing works please help.

Probably the same horse with a slightly different color but have you also tried DNS 8.8.4.4?

Better to use the DNS of your ISP in my opinion.

Also... have you checked the Device Name of the TV both in it's settings and in the router? Maybe this has something to do with MAC filtering if you happen to be using Wi-Fi and that feature if available on the router?

I have the same problem. my tv can't find any wifi.

If it gets an IP from the DHCP, it means it's talking to other stuff in the LAN. Some Samsung TV requires a Samsung branded (not generic) WIFI dongle.
