hi all trying to connect via cable connects to router fine and passes test displays all ip addresses but wont connect to internet .error tells me to contact provider. .ue32ehs300kxxu
Samsung any help appreciated.

no just searches until timeout.
internet connection shows connection to router and then a cross to the internet and prompts to contact isp. i reckon its a setting on router.

I noticed that I had to enter it a couple of times in the TV before it actually worked in the auto obtain mode for my Samsung.

If you have the TV set to automatically obtain an IP address and the router has enough addresses available to its DHCP service it should work, but you might instead try a reserved dynamic or static address in the router -- either require you to enter the TV MAC address. What IP address and subnet mask are entered in the TV?

going to leave it for the time being will try again later. getting frustrated now just read another report with some issues re router

If you did not have the router set to use that static address that is the issue.

If you cannot enter your router configuration pages from a browser on an Ethernet cable attached computer using 192.168.2.1 then you may need to reset your router to default and re-enter your settings.
