SAMSUNG UE-48H5003 USB power for External HDD

Hello guys i have heard that some tv's dont have enought power trough usb to run a external hdd my SAMSUNG UE-48H5003 runs fine with a flash drive but i am thinking on buying a 5400rpm 1tb external hdd. Do you have any information on how much power it supplies and if it will run fine .

The tv's port is 2.0 and the HDD is using 3.0 from what i have read it might not output enough power .

Not sure if real or not. Here one of the guys suggest using external power and the other one says it runs fine so i have no idea if it will actually work or not .

Also i found out that 2.5 HDD's use from 0.7 to 3 W so i guess it should work ?

The tv's usb is 0.5A and 5volts that should be enough for a HDD right ?
