Scandisc for camera

Hello,

I have a 16GB SanDisk for my camera and have taken over 2,000 pictures. I came home and am trying to download the pics but it is telling me that I have to format the disc first and will lose all data. The pictures are there but I can't get them on the computer.... any suggestions?

Do you have the card reader? Try it if you connect the camera to PC don't work.
