screen keeps flipping to tablet style

i dont know what started this, but it hapened to times now, my screen flips to a tablet style (going left to right) and the mouse starts to act funny. 1st time it took me a hr to fix this this time it took 10 mins while raging.

i dont know what causing it but i want it to stop.

NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER GET windows 8 its CRAP

this started around a lil over a month ago (or sooner)

8gb
intell 4000
nvidia 480 (think)
1to hd
windows 8.1

other issues i been having ton oif its related is im forced to keep resetting my wifi adapter (my desk top on the other hand something about not getting DNS not

What do you mean "tablet-style"?

If you mean that the screen rotates, that can be fixed by Ctrl - Up Arrow.

i dont know what causes it. it seems to go to a tablet style screen stly in its options in the screen resolution .

thanks for the answer. i will remeber this or try to. do you know what causes this to happen in its own? (screen going on its side)

Make sure no hot-key for switching screen styles is in your system.
