Screen too bright when logging in or reopening computer.

I have an ASUS K751M touchscreen thats been refurbished. Almost every time I open it up, wake it up, or log in now, the screen is very bright, like as if the pixels ran out of black. It stays like that for about a minute or so, and then the screen reverts back to its origional brightness. I dont know if its a hardware or software problem cuz it happens whether Ive moved my computer or not, and its only when I reopen or wake up my computer by pressing any button or moving the mouse. Anyone else having this problem and/or can help? I can adjust the brightness just fine, but the glitch doesnt seem to have anything to do with the programed brightness. The brightness is set to what I left it at earler, and if I set it to a darker tone, it only goes less color.

Seems like the did not fix it with the exact right part. Doubt it's software, but you can check that with a clean Windows setup or at least checking for newer drivers for the model from Asus support site.
