Solved! ASUS Notebook — uninstalled ATK package now computer isn’t working

Help! I have an ASUS NotebookUX305F. My Smart Gesture wasn’t working, so I uninstalled it and read that it was recommended to uninstall/reinstall the ATK Package first also. I uninstalled the ATK package and was prompted to restart my laptop, which i did. When it started up again all I get is my lock screen, and the computer won’t respond to any of my keys or my mouse so I can’t get into my computer. Was the ATK package crucial to even logging into my computer?? It didn’t seem like it from what I read about it. What now? I did reboot and hit escape and went into “Enter Setup” and selected “Load Optimized Preferences”, and used my keyboard to select those options, so clearly it’s still working. But, that didn’t make any difference and after restarting a few times my laptop is still stuck on the lock screen. Please help!!

or use a windows restore point from the time it used to work
