screetching/distorted audio from my sennheinser hd599 coming from yamaha MG10XU mixer

first , thank you for visiting my thread regarding my issue.



yesterday i ordered my first budget mixer and i received it earlier today.
after some fiddling around with it i finally got it to work besides further tweeking for optimal quality

finally got sound from my computer to output through my sennheinser hd599 headphones
that is connected to my yamaha MG10XU

the audio usb cable i used is something i took from my Blue snowball ICe after i upgraded to a RODE NT1


====ON TO THE ISSUE===

after a while i noticed these kinds of audio morphed unclear robotic/static and distortion that occasionally pops up while audio is played.

[while using OBS recording these sounds are not present in the clip and is only present through my headphones]
(i got a sample recorded on my phone while watching a youtube video so the audio might be bad)

Did you find a solution or did you send it back ?

Try installing the drivers from yamaha's website instead of the ones windows install. Then reboot your pc. Worked for me.
