sd card images removed

i connected my digital camera with my pc with the help of data cable but when i removed it then my camera showing that there is no pictures in sd card. when i again connect it with my pc then also it showing the same thing i don t know where is my pictures gone .
please help me....

Connect the camera to the PC using the cable provided; like you normally do. Download and run "RECUVA" from here: http://www.piriform.com/recuva/download

Now try to recover your pictures. As soon as you recover them save it to your hard disk and mane a backup of your computer. Frequent and regular backups are always a good idea. Backup to an external disk.
