Sd card media

I am using micromax q426.all video img and mp3 on sd card is visible in file explorer. But apps like gallery, whatsapp, instagram, audio video cutter and merger does not show any media present in sd card. I shows only phone memory media. How can I solve it? How can I view sd card media in gallery and all the above mentioned apps?

The other data may be saved on the local phone storage not on the card, or they be on the SD card but in a different directory from the files you do see. Look around for a Pictures folder or a folder with the application name and see if the files are there.
