Sd card says readwrite error how do I fix

I have a new s9 edge. After a week the sd card kpt saying readwrite error . If continues re format my card. It has stopped me being able to take any pictures. Pls help. All photos are backed up and have storage space still available.

I'm having the same issue with the S9 using a 200GB SANDISK. Replacing it isn't an issue since everything is backed up, but I'm wondering if it has something to do with the phone itself. I definitely don't want to be purchasing SD cards weekly.
