Sennheiser hd 229

I've read a few reviews but I still cannot decide.
Does the sennheiser hd 229 have a good bass and does it sound good?
I would like to buy an on ear headset in price category, max 55$.

EDIT: I don't need mic, I have a TT esports SHOCK for gaming at home, this would be for travelling by train, by bus and for street. Thanks!

they sound ok--but not a lot of bass

for about 10 dollars more i would recommend corsair h1500

Yep, I forgot to write, I don't need a mic. It will be for street / train use for listening to music, I have a TT esports shock for gaming at home.

the mike just folds up out of the way--for the price they have a really good sound and a lot of bass

though for out and about they may be a bit large--but larger drivers are what gives the bass so cant have it both ways--smaller phones--less bass

I really appreciate your answer, but I don't see the point of having a mic in public, that's why I am looking for a new one beside my TT. On the other hand the h1500 is too pricey for me and it has USB connector.
