Setting up bluetooth speaker

I've just bought a Bose SoundLink Mini II Bluetooth speaker. Is there any difference when setting it as a "speaker" and a "headset" in Windows? I don't want my laptop to recognize it as a "headset" (like it does right now), but I don't know how to change it to a "speaker".

I don't think your laptop cares whether it is a BT speaker or BT headphone. The output to it would be the same.
