Sharp Aquos Quattron 3D TV with Yellow Strip

I have a Sharp Aquos Quattron 3D TV which has suddenly put a Yellow Strip vertical on the screen about 1/3 of the way from the right hand side.
This TV is only 15months old so is outside of the manufacturers warranty - does any one have any clues on what to do before I spend a fortune on a TV repair man?

The Quattron's use a RGBY mix in the pixels I believe. I am no expert, and this is in the wrong sub-section really. If I were you, phone Sharp ASAP and tell them you have no receipt but you got it around about 11 months ago. Then they might ask for a serial number, and you might be in luck.
