Sharp Aquos LC-39LE440U
I saw a thread that had this exact same issue from some time ago. The power light when plugged in is red, then green when you power it on. However, there is no logo or anything on the screen and no back-lights. Further, pushing the power button does NOT turn it off. The current suggestion was to simply replace the main-board. A bit pricey, but a viable option. I was kind of curious though, as I a no stranger to a soldering iron and small internal components, could my main-board just possibly need the $15 EEPROM chip replaced?
