Should I combine PS4 and Viewsonic VX 2776

Hi,
I've got a PS4 and I want to buy a monitor to play game. Viewsonic 2776 is my choice, but the problem is the sound from PS4. Can I connect PS4 to Viewsonic 2776 with HDMI and then connect a speaker to the audio output jack of Viewsonic to produce the sound?

I have always run my PS4 through a TV via HDMI and had set of speakers attached at same time for sound. Do you mean to attach it to back of monitor or PS4? PS4 has a digital out for sound

I mean if I connect PS4 with Viewsonic monitor via HDMI cable, then I connect my 2.1 speaker (which is Logitech Z313) to the audio output of Viewsonic, then could this set up produce sound?

I'm running PS4 with Dell P2717 with completely no sound (the same happen when I connect this monitor with laptop), though in computer set up, the Dell P2717 sound is recognized by Window 10 as in the following image

That's why I have to ask whether Viewsonic VX2717 (with audio output) could provide sound from speaker.
