Should I replace the whole LCD screen or only the screen digitizer in Huawei Ascend G740

Hi, my mobile has the screen cracked, but it works perfectly, looks like only the outmost layer of the screen is cracked. I wonder if I could replace only the outer layer, is this the screen digitizer?. I have a youtube video about lcd screen change and the tools.

Should I buy the original or one of those Chinese ebay options is OK?

You said that " it works perfectly" so... my question is: Why would you change this display?
I advice you to keep going with that phone and forget about this cracked display In a few months you will want a new phone and you will forget this one!
