Sidecar: Can't get upper channels

I have a sidecar for a relative but I can't receive the upper channels.
I get the 100's channels for instance on C4 but when I go to 400 or 602,
603, the green light turns red and it says it can't find a signal. It
happens on other satellites as well.

I have my own sidecar which works fine so I know my dish is OK.

Any suggestions?

How do you have the polarity control hooked up?

On C4 the channels in the 100s(analog rcvr= odd channel -if it's controlling
polarity) are the opposite polarity of those from 400-603(even # ),and
again,I think with the latin dmx stuff after that.

On every satellite,for the most part the polarity changes about every 10
channels(I know this,because my sidecar has a firmware bug,so I had to let
my analog rcvr control the polarity....so when I channel up and it goes
"red" I change from "odd" to "even" or vice versa and I get "green"
again)...that sounds like what the problem is.
