Hello, I hope someone can help me. I do a lot of rendering for my work. Recently I upgraded my silverlight (stupid me) because it was recommended by my MAcbook. I need to uninstall SL 5 and revert to SL4 and everythign I have tried has failed to purge this program. Deleted through the plugins and also tried the terminal commands (sudo...) Anyway, I am losing my mind and hope that someone might be able to figure this out for me. Although I see no SL plists or anything else when I try to install SL 4 I get the message that this is cn't be completed since there is already a newer version installed.

Thanks in advance

I do lioke this from just looking at it

''Note If you have any problems with the installation, see the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article for information about how to manually install the plug-in:
970064 How to remove and manually reinstall Silverlight 2 for Mac
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/981760

so I click on the link to go to the page and get this

Try searching for what you need

This page doesn’t exist.

anyway did you look this over as well under uninstall tab ??

any luck ? seems for what I found is about removing the files manually and why it keeps showing you still got a newer version installed ? it must be seeing them files that did not get removed during the uninstall and fools it in thinking the newer version is still installed

anyway that's the best I found out on this

also this thread is showing up as solved ??
