SIM Card woes

So, I bought a gsm phone, unlocked, which is supposed to work with a Straight Talk billing plan. I call Straight Talk and ask for the SIM. Micro or regular they ask? HellifIknow, I tell them. Turns out I need a micro and they only sell regular. I have no idea where this leaves me. Can I just buy a micro sim card off ebay and then call Straight Talk to activate the phone? Can anyone help?

All you have to do is cut the SIM card down to size.
