Skype Doesnt pick up my mic.

OK when I go into a Skype call my mic doesn't get picked up and i use ventrilo and steam just fine. Also when i plugged in my mic to the back of the computer it got picked up. Is there some settings that need to be changed because when its plugged into the front panel skype is the only issue.

Check if Skype is set up to catch audio from the correct source. If you have a TV capture board for example, Skype usually will setup your mic as the board's audio input.
