Solved! Smached Screen

Hello,My child hit the 42" Sylvania Plasma/LCD screen. Location looks like a bullet went throu it. Question 1. Can it be fixed. Question 2. Is it safe to still let my children watch it.

If it was a plasma TV it would probably not even turn on. If it is an LCD then if it works it would be safe to watch. Cost of repair is going to be so high that a new TV would make more sense.
