Smartphone malfunctioning,samsung galaxy j2(2015

New smartphone was malfunctioning few minutes ago,which was for the very first time.Chrome was running and it was kept upside down,as I was listening music via its speakers(rear ofcourse).Touch seemed malfunctioning,but the phone didn't hang, as I could not even power it off.It did not endure any damage and its only few months old.Please help!

If you are having such trouble I would contact the manufacturer as it is still under warranty.
