Just set up my TV to be used as my computer monitor and i have been having some serious problems in both my games and everyday applications:

Firefox freezes every 10 seconds
In battlefield 3 it flashes black every time i die (which is a lot. not that good at it)
Orcs must die 2 freezes after I get defeated or win
Sometimes shuts down (Only happened once so far)
The list goes on and on. I had no problems with my 1280X1024 monitor but i wanted to play on the big screen 1920X1080. My drivers are all up to date.

This seems like an issue that will be difficult to address, so I ask that you make and provide a full list of the major problems you are experiencing so we can attempt to address them one at a time. Some of these issues don't seems like they would be caused by your TV. One quick note however, what model is your TV? The specifications will allow us to better find the problem(s).

It's a Toshiba 19" HDTV. The only one i have found that look similar is this one - http://www.tesco.com/direct/toshiba-19bv501b-19inch-widescreen-hd-ready-lcd-tv-with-freeview/212-6845.prd. This has a max resolution os 1366X768 but Catalyst says that mine can display 1080p @ 75hz

I've also found out that it isn't just Orcs must Die! 2 that keeps crashing, it is almost every game which is very annoying in multiplayer because you get kicked once the crash has smoothed out.

The problem i really want to get rid of is internet browser crashes. I would be watching a youtube video for a few minutes then the video would freeze but the audio would carry on playing. I think that Firefox crashing is what stops the video but adobe flash player is still playing the audio in the background because it is an entirely different process. Maybe it's the Catalyst 14.1 drivers causing the issue or the HDMI cable? Would switching to VGA solve the problem?

Personally I think you YouTube freezes wouldn't be caused by the TV or cables. Let's try something- try watching another video. When the video freezes, try opening another application- any application is fine. If you can see your mouse moving and the application opening then it is not a problem with the TV or cables.

I think the problem is 100% software based, I would appreciate your OS specs, and I suggest you try to update all web-based Adobe products and web browsers to their latest version.

Alright, now I'll need some more information.

First, tell me the time it usually takes the game to crash after opening. Is it instant? One Minute? Ten? Random?
Also, if you could list the games that crash that would be nice. It may be a similar driver issue on them.

Second, I would like the specs of your Graphics Card and Processor.

Thirdly, how old is this computer?

Lastly, is this a pre-built or custom-built computer?

One other thing I suggest as of now, make sure your graphics card driver(s) are up to date.
