Software for notification service for PC's running status on other PC connected through local wifi network.

Hello

What i am trying to say is all my PC's are connected through local wifi network(home), i need a software which could notify me whether the other computer is online or offline in real time.

Suppose i am working on PC1, and some other person booted up PC2 in other room, there should be a notification in my PC1 telling me that PC2 is booted or online, and when PC2 is shutdown, i need the notification for the same.

The reason i need such software is i am a heavy downloader and due to that other person suffers slow browsing on their pc, so if there is such method that could be able to know when the other pc is online then i can pause my downloading during that time and resume when the other pc goes offline.

well there are many ways to check manually u can see through router, mac scanners etc but if you wanna get notified best and easy way is to install LAN chat application for example Vypress Chat on both systems as this application starts with system so u can hear a sound alert and see, when they go u again get sound alert. you can download it on http/www.vypress.com/
