Software sharing between laptop accounts

Hi, I have had my laptop since last Christmas and it works perfectly fine and has all of the programs I currently require like Microsoft office. I use my laptop for gaming a lot and I am considering making a second user account for seperate game save files as Skyrim in particular lacks the ability to make seperate save files. While I am aware that there are ways to get around this problem I don't really want to risk overwriting my current game as It's not backed up yet.

To get to the point of this thread I am wondering if programs that I bought the laptop with such as Microsoft office and McAfee will be present on the second account. I got office prior to it becoming a subscription based system and it says it will only affect one computer but I am unsure whether this means it will only work for one account or for all of the accounts on a single computer. While I don't need Word that badly on a second account for gaming I would need things such as Steam to be shared between them.

On a secondary note, I play Skyrim with mods and I want to do another playthrough with a completely different set of mods than my current playthrough. As a result I would like to have a different Nexus account for the second Playthrough but I would also like to use the same steam account so can share my games between the different accounts. Is this possible? Or would I have to make a seperate steam account as well.

I apologise if this doesn't make sense but any replies are much appreciated. Thank you.

Making a second user account is unnecessarily complex for the purpose of getting Skyrim save games. Better than that would be to simply move the entire C:\Users\<User Name>\Documents\My Games\Skyrim\Saves to a different location, then starting a new game.

If you insist on doing this, McAfee and Office will be usable on all accounts.

For your secondary note, you can do this by selectively activating and deactivating the correct set of mods for each set of savegames that you play.
