Which software can we use to enable the EPABX to dial through the PC? The contact numbers would be stored preferably on this software and accessed by using the keyboard. Once the appropriate number is selected from the PC the call should go through the EPABX. This software should also have the feature of interoperability with most third-party EPABX’.

I am not sure you know all the details.
- What you're getting from your provider? Are you getting a SIP trunk to connect to, or just regular Internet connection?
- There are plenty of "soft phones" supporting SIP protocol. This is an application you install on your phone/computer, with contacts database etc.
- To dial regular PSTN line, your VOIP provider should support that.

Our lease line provider is activating voice over internet protocol (VOIP) for us. We want a software which has a database to store contact details such as names and contact numbers which can be retrieved using a keyboard and once the appropriate number is selected using the cursor; then the call should go through directly via this exchange software. The receiver should also be able to contact us via a regular number. We want to eliminate the need to physically dial a contact on the EPABX every time. Can you suggest any such software?
