Software Translator

I have a neighbor who has an old file system (DOS) called PFS: Professional File System, that she has been using for years to produce a book. Now she has a new PC (WINXP) and wants to convert those files to something useful under windows. I have been unable to find a way of translating them into something that would go into ACCESS, EXCEL, etc. None of her files have extensions thus no clues as to the format. Furthermore they cannot be read via Notepad or Wordpad.

Do you have any info as where I might look for some INFO on this OLD DOS program that might lead to clues as tohow to convert files to something useful?

None your sites can handle the files. The files are DB files not WP files. However I found another site to keep in mind that has a much greater translate capability.
