Some keys doesn't work in my Asus K55N

I noticed that some of my keys in my Asus K55N doesn't work anymore, They are d,f,j,k,l and ; keys. I tried reseating the keyboard ribbon cable and those keys doesn't work, I brought an keyboard for my laptop in ebay and those keys doesn't work. I even tried going to the bios and try setting the password using those keys and it definitely doesn't work. I tried plugging an usb keyboard and that works.

Anybody have a good solution or I hate to say that the mobo is bad? Thanks.

some things to try... specifically the take battery out of the laptop and push the power button for 60 seconds.

Holy Crap. That trick with taking out the battery and holding the power button definitely does work! Thanks alot, thought my laptop has a bad mobo for sure!
