Something's wrong with my laptop battery

My laptop will turn off when I unplug the charger and the battery notification led will turn red, green and turn off and vice versa,
It all happened after I immediately put it inside my bag even though its very hot as I was hurrying home cuz it was starting to heavily rain...
It has an internal battery btw.
