Sony 300-CD-Player Skips on every disc

I have owned this Sony 300-cd jukebox for over 8 years.
Recently have discovered that EVERY cd skips and jumps.
I removed the lid and blew air over the scanner area.
I noticed that it moved with the air blasts, but I suspect that is not the problem(?).
I wonder if there is a repair that can fix this.
Maybe the player is damaging the discs?

The laser assembly that reads the disc does have moving parts. After 8 years it is very possible that the laser mechanism is on its last legs. Sometimes it can be adjusted by a tech to give you a little more life.
