Sony 5.1 surround

How do i hook up a sony ss-ws101 5.1surround to my tv element 39" model #elefw3016 do i need a sony tv or dvd player?ea.speaker has its own plug that dont march anything i have. ?????Please help

I'm confused by your question. The sony ss-ws101 you mention is a subwoofer.

Are you saying you have a full set of 5.1 speakers and this is the subwoofer of this set? If so, do you have the receiver to go with them - they are not made to be played directly from a tv.
