I have a set of headphones that seem to be only workable when connected to headphone MIC jack.
Problem is that when someone is listening to the TV with them, there is no sound for everyone else watching.

This is pretty normal TV behavior. I don't know of any that work differently but then I've never seen a TV with a MIC jack either.
