Solved! Sony Cybershot P71 camera

I down loaded pics from my camera on to pc and now camera will not take photos. Any ideas as to how to fix please. I have checked memory stick and is not locked and also formatted. The display screen shows as normal but nothing happens when button is pressed

No error message camera turns on as normal but will not take a photo

All I can think of is to try a different mem stick.
After that, warranty repair. The shutter button may be faulty.
