Question Sony Home Theater STR K670P ISSUE

my system is stuck in 2 channel output. when i test tone it, i get sound in every speaker.
something tells me that has something to do with my headphones. note that when you plug them, the system automatically goes to 2 ch mode.
can it be some kind of switch malfunction?
hope that someone understands what im talking about!

Normal operation.
Since the headphone output is two channel only the receiver switches when you plug them in. Should switch back when you unplug them. If it doesn't then do it manually.

i tried that too!!! now i think its some kind of configuration in my pc.
i watched a BRay movie and all speakers work!
i applied a patch for dolby not so long ago. im 83.7% sure that has something to do with the "problem"
