sony HT DAV-TZ 140 connect to samsung tv included satellite top box

i have SONY HT model DAV-TZ140 connected to samsung smart tv thru satellite top box..
let me describe a little bit how i connect all those devices..
1- HDMI cable from HT to TV ( HDMI 1 ) not ARC
2- HDMI cable from TOP BOX to TV ( HDMI 2 ) DVI
3- analog audio from HT to analog audio TOP BOX
with these connection i manage to get an audio sound if i played FM, satellite TOP BOX channels but no sound if i plug in my thumb drive and played movie thru TV USB port. for your information my samsung TV and TOP BOX has a digital audio output but the HT only have analog audio output.
and here is my problem... why i cant get the sound while playing movie thru TV USB port?

two options

1st your HT supports usb movies so plug the usb stick into the HT no the tv

2 the only way to get sound from the tv to the ht is your tv will have to have rca audio outputs that you connect to the rca inputs on the HT and in your owners manual it even shows that your suppose to make this connection on page 10 of your manual.

the reason why i used TV USB port is with HT USB port i can only played several format of video but by using TV USB port i can play any format of video.
do i need to buy this kind of cable http/www.monoprice.com/Product?c_id=101&cp_id=10114&cs_id=1011412&p_id=10251&seq=1&format=2 in order for me to get sound from my TV to HT? tq.
