Solved! Sony KDL-60w630B horizontal transparent black rectangles bottom third of screen

If I turn the TV off for a bit and turn it back on, it goes away. But after a while, it reappears. It seems like the longer I leave the TV off, the longer it takes for the issue to show up again. It happens on ever input and I even tried a second outlet (via extension cord), which didn't help. Please help!

Is your TV connected to a cable box? If yes, try to unplug then plug it back in and see if that still appears. Try also switching to different port and also try changing channels.
