Sony MHC-SS450 sub-woofer with single RCA plug to be plugged into a receiver with raw-wire inputs (switches) for sub!

Can you please explain if it is possible to do this? I am not getting the compatible receiver at the right price, so have to think something out of way.
 
Solution
If the subwoofer is self powered (it has an ac cord) then you need one of these:

This will take the speaker level sub out and convert it to line level for the powered sub. You will only be using one channel of it.
If the sub is not self powered you just need an RCA connector at the sub end and speaker wire at the other. You can splice an interconnect cable to the speaker wire (the center of the RCA is the plus wire).
