Sony Super DVD to Samsung TV

i have a sony Super Audio CD/DVD receiver model : HCD-SD500W and how to i connect to my Samsung KU6000 series tv to use the home hifi as tv sound.
Currently iam only connected to to TV and can use only when play DVD. Please help. Thanks

Can't find any info on that Sony model.
If it has an optical audio input then connect that to your TV optical audio output. Check the TV manual on how to use it. You may have to activate it.
If it only has analog audio inputs then you will need to change the audio output type to PCM stereo in the TV menu and connect an optical to analog converter. Select a surround sound mode on the Sony for a stereo input.
