They are about the same price, but the toshiba has an i7. the sony has an i3. so am I right in thinking that the sony has higher quality?

Im looking for something that lasts and is of great quality. something that I wont have any hardware problems with.

I hate hp, multiple failures with the HP laptops ive owned
