sony vaio prepairing autorepair and black screen even no work any key comand

hi one of my friend give me a sony vaio e series laptop but it is not working when i on the computer it is screening vaio and prepairing autorepairing and then nothing happen then about 5 munites later is says your pc ran into a problem and needs to restart we are just some error info and then we will restart for you and there no key command working

Does the laptop have the "vaio" key to enter the vaio repair centre? if it does turn the laptop off and then press "vaio" and see what tools are available in there.
