SONY VAIO VGN-SZ740 does not turn on after fan replacement

Hello everybody,

My Sony laptop had some bad noises because of its fan. I ordered a new fan and replaced the fan. When I reassembled the parts, power LED turned on for 15 secs and then it powered off (Nothing on screen). After 5 secs it turned on again and the powered off after 15 secs.

I disassembled the laptop and reassembled again. But it did not work. I cleaned both RAMs, tried to POST with each RAM in different slots, unplugged BIOS battery, clearing CMOS, and checking CMOS battery voltage, but none of them worked.

Please help me to find out the problem.

If you wasn't grounded while doing this static from you could damaged some components. I'd remove the heatsink reapply fresh thermal paste and carefully reseat heat sink and recheck power plugin socket of the motherboard.
