Sony vaio vs dell laptops which best for engg student

Hello,
I am from India.I want to buy a laptop for programming , gaming & for entertainment .My budget is 40000 INR .I am Electronics @ Telecommunication engineering student
suggest me a best laptop in this category.

If I were you, I would look at the Dell Precision notebooks. They offer workstation class components in a notebook package, particularly the GPU. I have one and have been very pleased with it overall. While it is designed as a workstation, it actually games fairly well. Good luck!

You can go with DELL if u limit to 40000 INR.. But if you want better Laptop then I will suggest you for Sony Vaio.

Do know the performance of laptop is basically depends on following factor :

1) Mother Board
2) Power supply
3) RAM
4) Processor

Dont know which type of motherboard DELL use for there Laptops, but I am sure that Sony vaio laptop are better than DELL one because of above fators.
