i have my vaio laptop which is 2 years old till good before 3 month, suddenly shows some memory error(address) when i am using ubuntu so i tried to install windows so wipe all and tried to install it doesnt install stop in a middle shows some memory error cant continue your installation. so i tried to contact sony service center they told its motherboard issue need to change that it cost 15k it too costly for me so bring it back. any guess for it..

Test the RAM with Memtest86+. You will need to make a bootable CD from the Memtest86+ ISO file, you can do that with IMGBURN.

When you've made the CD, boot your Sony Vaio from it.
