Sony Vegas 13 - Video Event FX menu "cut off"

I'm having an issue where certain fx's options aren't displaying correctly. It looks like this https://i.imgur.com/RdupDJ4.jpg

I haven't been able to find a solution online, only found one other person with this problem. We both use windows 8.1.

Has Vegas always done this, or did it start doing this recently?

What resolution is your display?

Not sure, it's only for half the effects and I noticed it a while ago and stopped using vegas because of it.

1920x1080, i've tried changing the resolution but no help.

Have you applied all of the Vegas updates/patches, making it current?

Also, are your video drivers current?
