Hey!

So I just got Sony Vegas 12 and want to upload 2K and 1440p videos to my YouTube account. I have some gameplay of BF4 and want to render it but the render template for 2K that Sony has cannot be opened in my Windows or uploaded to YouTube.

The file type that doesn't work is XAVC 2K Intra.

Does anyone know how I can view and upload this file type?

I have also tried going into some of the 1080p templates they have and manually changing the frame size to a 2K resolution and I am able to render it but when it is done rendering I can only hear audio and no video.

Thanks for your help!

The following may help with how to render and export the video for uploading to YouTube. As for viewing it looks as though you may need some type of XAVC converter to convert it to a format you can view with the video player of your choice.

I don't believe you can upscale the 1080p settings to 2K and get it to work. I believe, but could be wrong, that the 1080p settings will only work if you are downscaling the video.
