Sony Vegas Pro 13 Problem

When i put a video in Sony Vegas and play it it gives me these colorful pixelated things on my video that stay there even after i render it, i need help

eg you might have a copy of Vegas that suits Windows 7 but you have Windows 8.

Have you got 64 bit version of Windows 7?
