Sound bar with sub woofer

Hello,

Has anyone purchase either one of these sound bars:

Sony HT-CT150

or

Samsung HW-C450

Has anyone had any trouble with any of these soundbars? I am thinking of purchasing this for a friend that has a new tv in her bedroom.

The sound bar belongs at ear level. The sub woofer belongs on the floor. There is no soundbar that produces low frequency like a sub woofer.

nah some makes like samsung and yamaha, do add 2 or more 3-4inch subs on the side of the soundbar.
