the product in Question is the Sound Blaster G5.
it has a Line/optical out/in jack on the back. the Manual says i can use a "mini Toslink" or a 3.5mm 1/8 inch plug. issue is...the 3.5 does not fit at all completely or at the very least you need to push hard at an uncomfortable level if it does fit (i will not push hard for fear of breaking it)

someone can explain to me what they mean?
my other question if i can get any tips to make sure i can get best out of my device. i dont want none of the gaming feature on but rather just a normal audio setup which also go for the mic.
unless the device is default setup for the best mic quality out of the box of course.
